Neither Hull FC or Hull City are allowed to use the pitch for training unless the GROUNDSTAFF approve, it's nothing to do with either club or the SMC.



Hull City were denied a training session on the pitch a few days after we were not allowed to use it for kicks.



As for the youth cup, the agreement across the competion is that games from the quarter finals onwards are played on the clubs home ground, not their training or reserve ground.

Don't have a problem with this. Our Under 21's played their finals at the KC 2/3 years ago.

Bigger issue for me is the Squash Championship to be played in front of the South Stand. Because of it's sheltered position from the sun the south end of the ground is always going to be the worse part of the pitch. Why not use the North End which will recover quicker?

Why not play it at the Melton International Sports Arena. Silly me, he hasn't built it yet has he?

We've knackered the pitch anyway. A mate who supports city told me after our first 2 home games that the pitch had noticeably deteriorated. he actually believed it

Beat me to it - Will the Squash People drop some cash into the pot for the new pitch cos some of us heard the Allams winging about the cost of it in. We will be playing on a Green and Yellow pitch during June.

Just watching soccer Saturday and cottee commentating on city. Just said pitch is awful obvious they play rugby on here!!! What is it 3 or 4 games played on it. Still serves as a good excuse to whine at RL.

But it reminds me of not long ago when i went to a disabled meeting at the KC and a member of the ground staff or possibly the man in charge of it all.



A question was put to him about the pitch an who ruins it more. He said football because they water it before the match and at half time and can play on it few times throughout the week if fixtures are right.

What are the pitches at huddersfield and wigan? Some union teams also share pitches with soccer clubs and I've never heard of any problems at any of those
