Just out of interest, who will be kicking goals this year for Hull. Will it be Tickle or Fitzgibbon ?

There's a lot of discussion here regarding whether or not Tickle will get in the team. So, whilst Tickle is a good kicker, I get the feeling Fit will kick.



However, it might finally give Agar a chance to spell Tickle's game time - maybe he can rotate with Fitz and they can take turns kicking - it would certainly benefit Tickle to get some rest during a game. Agar probbaly doesn't need any backs on the bench because of the number of wide-running second rowers we have.

I was swaying more towards Fitzgibbon too mainly due to excellent kicking record in the NRL.

True, me too - but they are both very reliable kickers.

Both can do a good job, so I reckon it will be a shared role dependent on who is playing, injuries etc.

God, I really hope not. For everything he can do, his goalkicking has been shocking the last year.

I`ll ask fitzy next time i see him in the pub(saturday evening)...along with o`meley..and there families

At the last fans forum someone asked Fitz about this, he said something along the lines of it being Tickle's job to lose. Saying he would continue practising with the boot for when he's needed

Fitz should be first choice with Tickle as backup.

If they are both on the field then Tickle would get it for me initially at least. If he gets in the team I hope Ticks can be spelled this year as most of his defensive errors have been understandably due to fatigue IMO.
