Not entirely sure about "RFL testimonials" to be honest. I'd rather they be reserved for ten years service at a single club.
I wonder if the testimonial match will be the derby or if there'll be a preseason game against Wakefield or Leeds.

It's a discretionary 3-month testimonial (not the full year) for services to the game over his entire career. Hardly OTT. |
