Can't see Catalan signing Webb. Also the Grudge said McDonnell has been offered silly money at another club, can't see that being us, but you never know. Seems a decent player and I wouldn't be disappointed to see it happen

We'll have to see. I do believe we will sign a fullback though. I think Gentle saying Horne will play fullback long term was a bluff. We will sign a 1 and a 6 and Horne won't get in the side. No sentiment from the current regime

I thought Turner did well to see the chance for an interception, however he tried to catch it with one hand and didn't control his pace at all as he was sprinting full pelt by the time the ball was in his hand, unless you have hands like wheelbarrows you're never going to do that

That's what I'm hoping, but if we sign a top 6 ie Chase, Finch or even Holdsworth and it means Horne has to spend a season at fb because there is no one of top quality to sign there. Then I'd put up with him at fb for a season instead of signing another mediocre player.

Last 2 weeks he has gone for intercepts and they haven't come off, resulting in a repeat set of six, from which points have been conceded. As I said, they were both high risk plays, late in the tackle count, which if he had held his ground, we would hopefully have defended out.

I'm not knocking the kid cos he's (allegedly) leaving, I just want him to stop going for the glamour play, when we are not in a position to risk it.

I like what I have seen of McDonnell and you can't have internationals in every position. I don't think he has missed a game all season either
