Allowed a day at the races after that performance...id have had them in for extra training...did it earlier in the season.

I've been going to the Ebor meeting for over 12 years - never once had an issue with gypsies (or anyone else or that matter). Been to all three days so far this year (I live right next to the racecourse - it's my second sporting love after Hull FC) and it's been great - looking forward to tomorrow. Not disputing your experiences but I've never had a problem - or heard of anyone having a problem. The worst day is John Smith's Cup day for me - but that's p***ed up Geordies not gypsies.



Good to hear the Hull FC players were there on Wednesday, let's hope they drew some inspiration from watching the performance of a true (equine) sporting great in Frankel. I've been lucky enough to see several great racehorses in recent years (including Sea The Stars two years ago) but Frankel is in a league of his own.

Went on Thursday for Ladies Day with my girlfriend. Got absolutely soaked and backed no winners, but still a good day. I would advise anyone to visit York.
