Is the, now near universal, anti-Agar sentiment on this board generally held by the support at large? Not living in Hull, I don't know. If it is, I think I think his position must be close to untenable.



I've made cases saying that this is a bit harsh, but life isn't always fair. With Berrigan, Horne, Yeaman etc out, confidence low and nothing to play for you could easily lose the last 3. His stock would surely then be so low, that, barring a dramatic turnaround next year, his staying through the off-season would just be delaying the inevitable.



I feel for him - he's had some rotten luck, to go along with the self-inflicted wounds. It is his livelihood under threat, too, which isn't nice for anyone. Perhaps he'll come back wiser and stronger from the experience, but that is now most likely to happen elsewhere, IMO.

It will be interesting to see who they bring in to support him, in place of Sharp, I believe this is the course of action they will take, as they are aware of how most of the fans feel about the situation so I suspect they may believe if they bring a decent name in this will help towards calming the waters and it may well do that.

I honestly believe Nobby will be brought in as Director of Rugby, and Agar will be used as the front man, I maybe wrong though
