I'm pretty sure that clubs who play on a Friday do it for good sound financial reasons otherwise we'd all be playing on Sundays. My view, for what it's worth, is that the Saints clash was about it being the first game of the season, Hull fans hadn't seen competitive RL for a long time and that Long was going back to his old stomping ground. Saturday might have been an added factor - I have no idea.'"
