| I thought it was a good decision to play Lyne, if you can't play your young upcoming players against a bottom of the team table when can you? If you are going to stick with the same old every week you'll get the same old every week. It was upto the experienced to ensure Lyne wasn't exposed and at least Whiting passed to him which is more than he would of got from Yeaman. Briscoe has rarely been dropped since starting as a 17 year old, you don't know unless you try.

| Agar made a mistake playing Lynn, his debut should have been at KC.
Hall should have played.
Remember those who want to make Briscoe a scapegoat he is only 19 and still learning. Also this season he is more exposed as Yeaman is defending one in with Long in the Centre position, this is to protect Long in defence.
Hence why I feel he is making more mistakes.
Let us get Easter out of the way and get behind the team.

| can't blame agar for playing lyne against salforrd imo, Hall isn't a winger Lyne is simple as straight swap for calderwood had whiting inside him for a bit of experience, i would rather him play agianst the likes of salford then against wire or saints.
Imo i can't work out why Hall isn't playing but only in the centre spot, brisoce hasn't done much and seems to be lacking confidence under the high ball and yeaman seems to be hit and miss at the moment.

| Playing Lyne was fine. The snag was that Hull were unable to find a way to use his blistering pace as an attack weapon to put the fear of God into Salford. Instead we donated possession and field position to Salford on a silver tray and invited them to attack the young lad's understandable weaknesses. The selection wasn't wrong but the performance invited all the trouble.

| Quote TrevLovesJanice="TrevLovesJanice"Agreed about Reece Lyne
He did what he could but isn't ready. [size=150You have to blame the numpty who put him in the firing line.[/size
The kid isn't going to turn round and refuse the chance to play, but he shouldn't be put in that situation [size=150at this stage of his career[/size. Tonight could set him back years.'"
Not wanting to offer any backing for Agar here but I think a few need to look beyond their own hate agenda against our coach.
There was a clammer on here for Lynes inclusion. Agar is damned if he gives a young local kid a chance and damned if he doesn't.
This situation is similar to when Lee and Washbrook were in the academy side and loads wanted them in the first team.
Lyne is 17 years old, a year older than Rich Horne when he made his debut. Horne was thrown in at the deep end, at full back against Leeds. Lyne was given the opportunity against what many saw as lesser opposition. Yes, he made some mistakes, but if anyone thinks Lynes inclusion in the team was the reason for our defeat and see it as an opportunity to slate Agar, then a few need to open their eyes to our glaring issues.
