| For me it should be one of either Quins, Wakey or Salford.
I think the Quins have had more than enough time over the years (in all their guises) to make it work and grow the game and fanbase in the biggest catchment area of the whole of SL. What do they really bring to SL? Problem is the RFL wont admit to it being a failure.

| I still think away attendances should be taken into account, clubs like us, dobbins etc are puttin cash into the pockets of the local communities when we travel so why shouldn't that be included?

| Quote bringbackbuck="bringbackbuck"All prejudice aside; who contributes least to Super League? Has to be Harlequins for me.
Ideally I'd like to see a Cas/Wakey merger, bringing Widnes in.
Admit the London experimet hasn't worked and give up, bringing in some form of Cumbrian side, a heartland of the game without SL representation is ridiculous.
Force the Crusaders back to South Wales or withdraw their franchise.'" It doesn't matter how little the Harlequins have brought to the super league, they'll be given a license; the RFL want a London club.

I agree. Taking FC as an example (on your site) if Hudds give attendance as 6978 there could well be 3000 black and whites there (40%) whereas FC have an attendance of 13000 of which 300 are hudds fans (2.5%).
Over the season I will wager the away support from Rovers and Hull will average out at 20% over all grounds. We could only wish for that away support at ours.

| I think it does not make rocket science to work the outcome based on all the criteria
Widnes in
Wakefield out unless they merge!
Quins will not drop because of the RFL passion of having a London based club!!
However remember the inside news coming out of Wrexham is awful reading and they could disapear all on their own, you cant loose that much money day in day out and not jump ship ...

It's quite cringeworthy when i look over to the away end on matchdays i think it was at cas when we were nearly 50% of their attendance

That was bizarre - entering the ground it looked like a home tie for us.

I don't think you would have to combine them but a cumbrian club needs to be in super league as do widnes, fax and feath

before we took on welsh and french teams that exact senario whould have been where we took our RFL cash in the first place.
British RL needs a vibrant Cumbria team in SL and RL needs Cumbria however i think there is little chance of mergers in Cumbria to pull it off ... has anyone ever experienced the rivalry between those teams jeez makes us and rovers look tame
But yes i would love a Cumbria side in SL, weekends on the lakes, fishing and RL what more could you ask for

| I think they should try a Cumbrian side for 3 years just as in France and S Wales.
I was talking to 2 guys at the London Game and they had moved to London from Workington for work reasons, even they said it was a struggle for crowds down there. If the London crowd was 3k then over 50% must have been from Hull.As every one else says London will still be in.I agree it looks like Waky out and Widnes in at least they would bring some support.
