Any player who puts their body on the line in RL has immense bottle in the first place but to do it against people like Clint Newton when your a 17 year old BOY means that one thing that can't be questioned is your bottle!

i remember yeamo getting slaughtered at saints as a 17 year old,shipping 3 tries.

It'll happen to most kids coming through. It's how they respond that defines what sort of a player they'll be.

Totally agree, made a few bad plays tonight and a few good ones too, he'll be better for the experience if he's going to make it.

There's a difference between having a go at the kid and pretending he had a good game. He didn't, he was out his depth but understandably so. There's no shame in it, and thinking he doesn't deserve/can't deal with having it pointed out is doing him a disservice, IMO.



When he has good games that will also be noted and he'll get plenty of praise. Can't have one without the other.

Agree with you mate,,,,it reminds me of the lad Penny who was at the Wire,blistering pace, but did get found out and was out of his depth,but hope he does ok.
