6th. Still think we have the squad to finish 3rd though.

We have the squad for a top 4 finish imo....however unless we change the coach very soon we will find ourselves in an end of season fight for 7/8th

To finish in the top 6, I think we have to win the next 3 games - after that we have the derby, wire and saints of which 2 points would be a fair yield on current form.

pretty much no doubts about this - the rest is pretty much wide open



so the best we can aim for is 6th - the last 2 years a minimum of 29 points has been needed to achieve this (before that there were only 12 teams so not comparable directly). so we need another 25 points or 12 wins and a draw from 20 games, which is round about top 4 form for the rest of the season, with wire and saints to play twice. its a tall order.



after all that i would hope we can finish in the top 8 but with lots of similar teams around its going to be a fight

When people say 6th or 7th do they mean in terms of regular season finishing position or play off finishing position?

I'd got with 6th too.



Think the top four will be Wigan, Wire, Leeds and Saints with Hudds 5th and then come a few clubs including us.

what are you basing that on Paul, we failed to compete with Wakefield and only started playing against Quins with 15 minutes to go, and even then we were far from great from what I read/am told.

Maybe on the fact that we cannot continue to play this poorly for the rest of the season?? When you take the top 5 as given, and then there is usually a team that surprises everyone as well I think 7th downwards is more likely.
