as others have said we have good wing options and if lineham never got his injury we wouldn't have signed him anyway.



by the way i wish the usual suspects would give young jason crookes at least a chance to perform in a good team, and with a good coach before writing him off, why can't people learn that under gentle players (especially young ones) seem to take their game to a better level. give the lad some time please

I haven't seen enough of Crookes, but we didn't see much of Foster before he joined us. Give the guy a chance before you slate him. I well remember the Aspinwall moaners. Soon shut them up.

I don't think anybody is particularly slating him just saying that they would rather have Foster than Crookes.



That said even in the very few games Lineham played last year he looks like he is the best player out of the 3 already.

I don't think many people know how good Jason Crookes is or otherwise. He was signed before Foster became available on loan. I'm sure fans will back Crookes when he gets his chance like they did for Foster. Crookes is quick and pace is a big deal on the wing.

what foster did to quote from Gentle is to convert 4 pts in to 6 ! Foster is not top 4 Sl wing standard.

Tbh dont think Crookes is either but perhaps Gentle sees him as a " work in progress ".

I am actually surprised at how many people think Lineham will be first choice next year. He is behind the pecking in order IMO and we will start with Briscoe and Crookes (rightly so). Lineham will spend the year Dual regging.

Why does Crookes have the right to start before Lineham? Imo Lineham looks more of a threat than Crookes and just like Lineham will have to prove himself at training etc. Would much rather go with Lineham from the off.
