Correct. Sandercock said before Tenerife that one week's warm weather training is worth 6 in the UK. With Rovers therefore being:
a) 5 weeks ahead of us
b) having assembled the best pack in Super League (Phil Lowe) and
c) it being "Rovers' Year" (Mike Smith, twice)
I expect Rovers to win by around 30-40 points.
In answer to the OP, and as further back-up to my prediction, no. Unless Biggs/Crookes, Tuson, Lineham, Rankin and Talanoa are suddenly available. |

dont agree with the fixture, but go because we have been starved of rugby for 5 months
sandracock took this game more seriously than we did last season as did some of the dobbins, win or lose i couldnt care as long as we come out injury free
more concerned about the derby games that matter

As long as hudge doesn't come out and assure us he is the right man for the job and he won't be sacked I reckon he'll be alright |

probably because although our fans are optimistic about the upcoming season we don't feel the need to discuss every little thing going on at the club unlike certain other fans do, personally I think well improve on last years 8th place, but I don't really feel the need to go shouting it from the rooftops just yet, unlike some fans  |

Finishing 5th hardly equates to it "being your year", Smith followed through with referencing silverware. Last year Sandercock played the injuries card and excused zero play-off wins and being dumped out of the cup with the comfortable "we're just a small club" comment. Different arena now. You have the comp's best pack, and little time left on Sandercock's contract. Massive pressure on him to deliver from day 1. |
