Phil Webster was on here shouting the odds about the SMC and the council's "over our dead body" action plan on Airco. Heard nothing for weeks though. I think we can safely assume they can't/won't/don't want to get involved.

The ticket machines don't take cash so make sure you have a card. If you are too young to have a card, tough. Caused a lot of issues I am told at City.

On the plus side, it is easy to buy student, / under 22 tickets and fleece your club.

Prime example of some no -mark providing a cost saving figure to the SMC with absolutely no idea how the whole process works.

Been saying for years its a mill stone, nobody would listen.

If a concessions ticket/pass is scanned through at the turnstiles it triggers a red light that a steward can see at the other side of the turnstile so if you don't look 60+ etc you can be challenged.

Happened to me last season and the steward wanted me to surrender my pass.

Anyone know the score with family tickets? You had to buy them at the KC ticket office but if there isnt one now where do i get it?

So have most people. You're not some sort of genius as the only person in the world who could see how the deal makes us vulnerable.



But, what options have we got? The council are a toothless set of morons, there are no other stadiums to play at & we don't have a benefactor willing to stump up millions to pay for a stadium.

So as a membership holder how do I go about getting the discount on a matchday ticket without paying any additional fees?

I haven't being able to collect my membership as yet so don't know if the info is in the pack but there doesn't appear to be a facility online to give the discount when purchasing a ticket?

A new, simpler tenancy agreement could offer benefits for all stakeholders - the council/people of KuH, City, FC and probably a SMC, IMO.



The council would ideally like it to cost them nothing. They could allow the clubs to be tenant-managers, but a SMC willing to take on risk and mediate makes sense. To balance that risk it has to able to charge rents that give it a chance of turning a modest profit.



Hull FC could really do with greater certainty of expenditure and without the above inflation increases in ground rent.



Get a sensible estimate of how much it will cost to run and maintain over the next ten years, add a bit to make it commercially attractive, divide between City and FC on the basis of number of games played and peg to inflation. Bin-off attendance modifiers and ticket buy-ups.



Certain parties are willing to cut their nose to spite their face at the moment though.

It's possible the Allams would want to retain the SMC even if they sell City. Just for devilment, maybe. You'd like to think the council would have learnt from the clusterfeck of shambolic ineptitude that's surrounded the whole thing over the years when any sale takes place but there's no evidence to support this aspiration. What's Allam doing ATM? Gone a bit quiet.
