He played in 20 games for us last season.

Sorry I am not making a song and dance out of this as I like you am sure it will come out in the wash and has been discussed the deadline has been moved to earlier in the season from next year.
The article alludes to Hull speaking to him around 4 weeks before the deadline, it states "paul Johnson signed for Hull and they didnt tell us so thats illegal". Nowhere in the article does it state Wakey are reporting the approach but now its in the medi I am sure it will be looked at.
Looking back at this message board and some of the posters who if you believe are in the know stated as a rumour Johnson had signed, and without trawling back through I bet some of these posts were before the September deadline, (no smoke without fire indeed).
