| How long before Lineham / Shaul / Crooks feel the need to move on in order to further their careers and/or fulfill their potential?
It's yet another problem for the club to address. Not only do we need to develop young players but we also need to give them a framework with which to achieve their ambitions to succeed at the highest level. If we don't then a succession of young players will simply view the club as merely a stepping stone to bigger and greater things with the likes of Leeds & Wigan gaining the best years out of players who start their careers with us.
Tom Briscoe should have been one of the key players for us in what (hopefully) should have been a golden period in the club's history. None of us are totally sure of the reasons behind his departure but our loss is someone else's gain.
If the club wish to challenge at the sharp end, then holding on to young players as they approach their peak years is of paramount importance.

Don't think it'll be that much of a problem. With performances like last night what top youngsters are going to sign up in the first place? Junior coaches and parents aren't going to want their kids associated with a club that puts on a show like that.

So that's both us and rovers future recruitment down the drain then..

| He'll be missed massively and who can blame him for moving on.
The emergence of Lineham softens the blow somewhat, hopefully Biggs (if he signs) can do a job for us too.

| Really hope he goes to a successful club so that the "experts" around here can see just how good he is.

Don't think it's the clubs fault Tom is leaving, from what Adam Pearson said they put a very lucrative deal on the table, only for Tom to keep stalling.A club can only wait so long for a player to make up his mind.

The club did everything possible to keep him and I don't think they can be criticised for the way they handled the situation.
The reality is that Tom had decided to move on and I don't think he can be criticised for that.
He has given us some great memories and should go with our good wishes - wherever he ends up.

Hall or charnel presumably. He's better than both but been hampered by playing for a crap team outside an even crapper centre
