A lot of teams have players with baggage, probably even ourselves. Can't all be squeaky clean . Even nrl players . I think it would be a mistake if we don't sign a quality player just because he has a pasted . Got nothing to lose in signing him , if he makes a mistake at hull then get rid .

Regarding Kelly. The 2015 Kelly vintage was excellent, the 2016 iteration was total pants. He is a mood player. Assuming you keep him focused, he will be an excellent signing and a creative step up from Pryce and Tuimavave on the evidence of their contributions last season. He is also very error prone often in a costly way. I have a sneaking suspicion he will go well for you, assuming you ship out Wanky Franky the Tanky back to Oz.
