i emailed james rule a few weeks back as i work shifts and was affraid it would get changed to a sunday, which would mean me having to try to get cover so i could goto the game. The response i got was they had no plans to change the game.



Surely on a comperate level it wouldnt benifet them to change it to a thursday or even on a fan level to change it.

That is correct, and until the RL come up with a strategy and grow some balls, we as a sport will always dance to the beat of the Sky drum.



The fact is, like it or not the game needs sky and their money and on the whole they do a great job. However, through plain short-sightedness and poor management, the RL have never maximised this and seem to enjoy both bending over for Sky and then subsequently passing that shafting onto its paying supporters.

Please don't quote facts like that. You get shot down for it.
