All this stuff ought to be in the players contracts anyway but as no-one actually looks at their contract after they've signed it a short, one page code of conduct would help.



I don't see why it should be confidential between the club and the players. It would be the same for all of them and wouldn't contain any personal or financial information. Surely its basic, commonsense stuff and surely we, the supporters, are entitled to know what standards the club expects from its players.



If there is one it then has to be enforced consistently and fairly.

Given how pally Agar is with some fans, it makes it difficult for him to hold his head up!

The only 'code' we have in place is a Barcode and Agar thinks 'conduct' is prison ventilation.

Are you certain that some of the players smoke???? If that's correct it's terrible

I can think of one well known prop forward who does.

Is it true they smoke at training, surely Agar cannot condone this?? I'm not a Hull fan but I would be suprised if any other SL club allowed this. I am genuinely shocked.

Very ill thought-out remarks making it obvious you have little concept of professional sport. Sportsmen and women have an obligation to look after their bodies to a far greater extent than normal people because their job performance depends on it, they are rewarded for this (to varying degrees depending on the sport) in their wages. If you don't understand this then you don't understand much.



Also, I'm fairly positive that the human rights act does not mention anything about drinking on 'school-nights'.

Think you have a valid point but maybe they should refrain from having sex at least 2 weeks before a game as we know this can hamper performance..
