| Raynor was a fantastic player for us, particularly as he was just an unknown from Leeds reserves when we signed him.

| I think there are some with Very Rose tinted glasses here for Colin best. CB had the advantage of having Centres who would pass him the ball and halves who could release our 3/4 line. With e exception of London away, griffin park, best never created anything for himself.
As for the poster who is waiting for Briscoe to trump Bests tries I suggest you look at the footage of the away games at Cas for the last two seasons, the away game at wakey in 2011. The Salford home game of 2011 and the leeds game of 2012. That's not taking into account the breaks he makes from absolutely nothing.
Briscoe is strong and fast. best and raynor didn't have his strength and hence, despite their high work rate, they never looked like breaking the line.
Now throw in that Briscoes centre rarely passes and there have been not real halves to speak of, I'd say TB is way ahead in most aspects of the game

| Quote Jimmy Carr="Jimmy Carr"=#BF0000TB is the best defensively IMO, and will get even better.
Raynor on fire was the best attacking in my opinion, but all round Best takes some beating.
Having said that in 5 years when TB comes back to FC from Oz, he will be better than all 3 put together.
And he will come back as surely FC can negotiate first refusal? Or maybe not if his contract ends? I would like to think TB might do that for us either way?
To many questions for a first post I've confused myself.....
'"
the kid can't catch... His NRL career will be over in 2 years at best. Either that or he'll be playing for the team regularly in the bottom 2..
Personally I'm glad that we haven't allocated a huge chunk of our cap on a winger and a vastly overrated winger at that!!

I agree, he is a good solid player but it would not warrant silly money to keep him.

| Colin Best for me.
As for Raynor and Briscoe, that would be very close and I'm not sure who I'd choose.

| Gutted is Tom goes. Another step back for the squad, once again we can't keep our best players. We'll never win silverware all the time this happens.
Good luck to him, not happy about it though and in all honesty I think it's too soon for him.

| Best for me. Raynor edges it second with Briscoe third.
Briscoe is quality and will be missed but I agree throwing fortune at him would of been a mistake given our short coming in other areas.

AP made Briscoe a "huge" offer, Briscoe has decided (apparently) to go and live in Australia for 2 (maybe more) years, he'll be 23 when he gets on the plane, I don't know many people who wouldn't want to take that opportunity and see how it goes.
Who else have we "lost"?
