Wasn't too keen when we decided to switch to Fridays but now we have i certainly prefer them. To try and blame the 10500 against Crusaders on it being a Friday is somewhat comical when it is down to poor form and people deciding to stay away.

The reserving of the East stand could well have an impact on the attendances but still hard to say till we put a run together and start looking like a decent team.

I suspect the moderators prefer Sundays as they don't have to spend all weekend trying to bring order to anarchy on here. All very Zen this week

Fridays all the way for me. It combines rugby with a night out - perfect.



Defo wouldnt have a pass if it was a Sunday let alone a drink.

If i worked days then Fridays are ideal...was on 2 shifts and had to use hols but no hardship....now going onto 3 shifts so sundays are miles better.

I always preferred Sundays. It was the day we played. It's just the way it was. Since we've all but permanently moved to Fridays I quite like the fact that the rest of the weekend is now free for other things.



It seems that the benefits of Friday nights out weigh the convenience of Sunday afternoons. Financially (corporate entertainment) Fridays are better for example. Since I work in Hessle square but live on the other side of town Friday nights are good for me as I can go straight to the KC from work.



Still it would be nice to have some home games on Saturday or Sunday, if only to have a change.

When we first moved to fridays i was definatly against it but it doesn't really bother me when we play now, i still do much prefare sunday away games tho, saturdays are ok as well but travelling on a friday can be a right pain.

And what is your evidence for this statement? The low attendance on Friday was due to our poor form, not because the match was on a Friday.



The three best supported teams in SL - Wigan, Leeds and Hull - all play their home matches on a Friday night.



Fridays suit me; Sundays are for family stuff, especially during the summer. If our home matches were played on Sundays I would not be able to go to enough matches to justify buying a pass.

it would appear that MOST people do want Fridays which means your opening statement about the board and the majority is wrong.

Try changing the voting system , instead of a straight poll use an AV system and then no one wins - but we can all pretend we voted the right way

I now live away from Hull, so Friday nights are an utter nightmare to coordinate. Sundays would be much easier for me.
