| Thorman as ruined as a player by Jon Sharp.
He was a very good SH. Remember, he was picked for England. He had a very good kicking game. He was an extremely good servant for us - despite what some 'supporters' say.
He was asked to play FB by Mr Sharp. He played OK - until Brough pumelled him with high balls. After that his confidence was shattered - until after JS departed and he returned to SO. He played the season out there and did a good job.
He didn't want to leave the Giants, but strangely followed JS to Hull.
Now, I wonder if you should be picking on Thorman and Agar????
By the way, I was embarrassed by our chants of 'Thorman what's the score'. Totally out of order.

| I think Agar picks him so he has a ready made scapegoat TBH.
Felt for him tonight. Should not have been put in that position.

Totally agree, felt sorry for the lad, he looked liked someone had shot him in the heart, squatting down as Hodgson was preparing to kick for the extr 2 points.
It was a weakness we saw on the first high ball that undid him and the second one was only to follow, clearly the coach should have moved him from full back. What I don't get was where was his support the ball Fulton kicked was so high you had time to stroll back and protect him, but no one to be seen.

| Quote Walter Neff="Walter Neff"Seem to remember that he was a decent player at Huddersfield,,,,Looks like a total loss of confidence.....Could it have been when he went to Aus,,hardly played for the Eels and ended up back over here?'"
Its been said by Ivor and DG already, but Thormans form dropped when Sharp put him at fullback for Hudds, he clearly wasnt up to it for us, and isnt for you.
But once sharp got the boot and our caretakers put him back to stand off his form came back. He has lost some pace which must dent his confidence too, but he was at one time a very good standoff, all he needs, imo, is a coach that can bring that out of him again, JS and Agar arent it.
If the poor guy decides to keep playing, you have got to think some national league team is gonna get a player to take them to the championships.

| I wonder how some of the high handed posters about Thorman would have gone on tonight if they'd been with us.
We got into the player's bar, They all came in after getting changed,
Thorman was last in.
The daughter was having a shirt signing frenzy with our lot.
Saw Thorman and headed for him.....he almost looked surprised to sign it.
FFS.....hes a fookin human being. And one with feelings like you and me.
I've booed him myself.... and it all made me realise what a tw*t I was doing it.
All the way home all I've thought is...ok He might be a pro and getting well paid but nobody deserves that.
How's this affecting him? His other half? I know I wouldnt want it.

| Thorman is a scapegoat because tonight he showed intrest at going forward, i feel so sorry for him, and when he missed the second bomb and they scored, the Hudders players pated him on the back FFS where are his team mates, i think the best thing Thorman can do is just walk away, theirs nothing at FC for him, and no matter what he does the FC fans are just gunna boo him. Wow can't believe im watching someones career crash and burn, i hope he can get a contract at another club, and make it back in the SL, because he'll probaly go to a lower league team if any, never felt so sorry for a FC player like i do Thorman.
Had to get that out. All the best for the future Chris. His FC career is now probaly over.
