From what ive seen of Sika Manu (which really isn't much) is a great player who could easily get a deal in the NRL, why would he want to come here especially at this stage of his career? |

I think you are getting a little confused here, hardly the same situation is it?
Obst is in to the 2nd year of his deal and has been told he is surplus and can look for another club, if this doesnt happen then he will stay and see out his contract, what similarity has this to Misi having his contract retracted? |

I honestly can't answer that. All I know is that he's OOC, yet to be picked up by any club. Now as you say, he's a talent that could easily get a deal somewhere, so he must be waiting for something to happen before he announces it. Coincidentally we are waiting for Obst to move on before we can announce and register our new forward.
Seems plausible to me, however unlikely. 
It's better than just throwing out random names, I suppose. |

Sika Manu would be brilliant, maybe that's why he's OOC, as he's signed at Hull assuming Obst leaves so we have the cap/ quota space?
Having Manu and Manu in the second row with Westy at loose would suit me just nicely.
