Westerman can be replaced from within but Holdsworth not...unless a new coach could get him to attack the line more.

I agree (reluctantly) that we need a new coach, Peter Gentle has been unable to consistently put out a team that plays to any recognisable game plan.



But this isn't 'fantasy league', we can't just 'get rid' of players who are under contract. We can pay them off but that makes no sense as they would still count on the salary cap. We could offer them to other clubs but it takes two to make a deal.



Realistically Paea replaces Ogre and we can bring in another 3 or 4 players to replace Briscoe Galea and Tickle but that's it for 2014.

This coming from a fan whos own chairman spouts crap on his barstool in salthouse tavern and any chance he gets in the local rag.

So, FC baldy wants to get rid of a number of senior players like Westerman, replace them with youngsters like Kent & Hadley and sack Gentle and bring in a coach that's done nothing for years like Folkes?

Paid off players only count on the cap if they have played a game that season. At least, that used to be how it worked.

Ellis, Whiting, Pitts, Hadley, Kent are our contracted back rowers for next year, you want to weaken us further?

What I find almost comical is the trait of many fans to show the same predictability and sticking to format that the team do in their criticism for such things. No matter how individual players are performing or what specific problems we have at any given time, it's still just far easier to pick out the same names as usual for the chopping block.
