There's an old saying "you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear" - some of these players he should have done better with are never going to be good enough regardless of who coaches them. There comes a time when players have to put their hands up and take the blame. As has always been the case, we perform badly the coach gets the criticism, we play well and the players get the accolades. We'll see what happens next year but I expect it to be a hell of a lot different to the past 2 years. If it's not then I will join the queue baying for Agar's blood.

Of course we'll be better with better players on board, however the measure of a coach/manager/leader is their ability to get people to perform at their best consistently and improve themselves over time. If you're waiting for agar to do that then you'd better find yourself a comfy chair

You can borrow that chair in the meantime if you can tell me any coach who could get better out of the deadheads Agar has had to work with this year.
