May be tempted to put Berro at half back and Lee to hooker. I just don't think Hornes creative enough, hopefully Long will take some pressure off him.

Tansey at FB may surprise a few people with his creativity too.

Looks good to me. Possibly swap Manu and Burnett, and Briscoe has to prove himself at centre, but it looks a strong team containing a bit of everything.

Be a horses for courses call in my eyes.

TBH with Briscoe, Calderwood,Raynor pressure on them all because 2 in to 3 doesn't go



Yeamo will have to be on his toes with Turner coming in and also briscoe been able to play in the centres along with Tansey no one a certain starter which should bring the best out of everyone

IMO the squad being assembled for next season could be one of the best we have had for a number of years. All we need now is to rid ourselves of the injury curse and we'll be up there with a shout.

I hope one of the other players to come in is a 6. Not sure Rooney or R Horne are the right people for that shirt though.

Agreed, would like to see Whiting given a run in a pivotal role with Horne/Rooney as back up.

Was interesting to see that when he came on v Leeds at FB he went straight in to first receiver a couple of times and started to give us some real width with his passing. Has a better passing and kicking game than R Horne for me.

Also drew defenders to him before offloading therefore creating gaps - Yeaman's bombed pass to Broughton came off one such example. I am sure given the opportunity Whiting could be a very similar player to Crooke in attack. He has never been given that opportunity unfortunately.

Horne is costing us too much to sit in the stands for a season.
