Couldn't agree more. For me he has been too often compared to other players in terms of his performance - particularly Joe Westerman. He is a SL player in his own right and a bloody good one at that. Time to tie him up for another 3 years and look to bring him into the coaching setup towards the end of that. Get it sorted AP. |

| No 13 shirt , 1st name on the team sheet and probably captain. He simply epitomises what we need from professional players at our club. Well plus a bit of speed actually as well  But then Rich can "think" his way over the first 40 metres or so faster than lots of speedsters. |

Hull FC fans’ favourite Richard Whiting will celebrate his testimonial with the club by signing a new two-year contract extension.
The Black and Whites’ dependable back rower, who is just as comfortable playing across the backline as he’s done numerous times in recent seasons, will stay with the club until at least the end of 2016.

well deserved, hope he plays in one position in 2014 i think he would be even better training all week for 1 spot rather then playing were ever. imo
