Tbh Mate i hope your right

Craig Hall is a gifted attacking player whichever position you put him in the back line. Doesnt have the searing pace or strength to make him a truly effective winger however the try he scored against you (cant remember which game) where he plucked a kick out of the air one handed and got it down showed his ability. Lack of pace/strength also limit him as a fullback as his defence is also questionable and has brainfarts just the same as Eden. As a centre he can put his winger away better than welham or salter however centre is such an important defensive position that he gets found out.



I really think his best position is 6, he has a good running game and can create things out of nothing and his kicking game isnt that bad either. If you put him alongside an organising 7 who can lead the team around the park and let craig have a bit of creative freedom to do his stuff, with a consistent run in the team he could be effective. Unfortunately hes not going to get that chance whilst we have tubby gob5hit3 burns as Sanderock loves him. Tough one cos I do think Burns is a good player but similarly needs the same kind of 7 next to him as I described for Hall (..DOBSON) ha as of yet neither are effective for us because Keating isnt performing yet and im not sure he will ever be the organiser we need.



For you lot he would be decent cover for the wing, slightly better cover for centre but as I say a better option at 6.. however you have a lot of options there already so unless Radford can guarantee him a starting place which I doubt, I dont see what he would gain from switching back to you. However if he has had a spat with Sandy he might want the change back to his supposed old pal Radford.



Time will tell but to be honest I dont think either of our teams are what he needs to kick on in his career, but similarly I really dont know what team could give him a starting place as a 6 which is where I think he would be best.

Hope it's not true. I really can't see where he would fit into our team unless we are going to try and turn him into a stand off. I certainly wouldn't drop any of the current back five for him.

IMO Craig Hall gets better the less he plays. He's often the answer to all our ills when he doesn't play but the scape goat for when things go wrong.



As others have said, his better games for us have been as a makeshift 6. He offers a decent running game, decent hands 'most' of the time and gives the ball a good kick be it drop out/conversion/distance. On the flip side he's prone to dropping the ball with no pressure and fails to find touch all too often. TBF I'd have him in our team right now wing/centre/stand off. But that doesn't look like happening if the rumour CH and CS have had a fallout.
