Sky Sports to show a 5th rd @TheChallengeCup tie on Saturday, April 18, will probably go for @LeighCenturions v @SalfordDevils'"
So Sky will be showing one game from this round after all. Great to see, and if they do end up picking the Leigh Salford game, it should be a cracker.

It's interesting to note that the article has been completely re-written now, removing any reference to televising ties, and specifically mentions your game being at the Keepmoat.
It's good to know that RLfans offers our local rag a free proof-reading service.

* Edit - it still has the tv bit at the bottom of the article, but the point still stands. Anyhow, it now appears they may have been right all along if Sky step in & cover the Leythers game.

| Sheffield switched their home tie to the KC in 2003 because Don Valley wasnt available wondering if they'll do the same thing this year

For the credibility of the game as a whole, I hope they don't. Unless facilities are unsuitable for the game (e.g. an ameteur side v a SL side where the ground can't cope with demand) switching ties should be banned.
Besides, over the years the Keepmoat is your 2nd home, how many times have you played there?

Well Don Valley isn't available this time either !
Friday at the Keepmoat would give us a full week before our next SL game too

That game was our highest ever score/margin victory too, apparently. 88-0.
I remember one of their players stumbling around the SE corner at a kick-off after we scored (I think he'd took a big hit in the previous set and didn't have a clue where he was). Correct me if not, but I'm sure he went to the sidelines, threw up, and carried on playing?

| looking back now its astonishing to think we pulled nearly 12k for the cup fixture in 2003. if we were the home team in this round what would the attendance be - 5k tops?
