Do people really think we can cancel players contracts that easy? We would have to pay him off and thenpay lunt.

Mentioned on twitter last week he was off to Leeds. Can't believe they are letting him go and signing Moore?

It is an odd choice indeed. Moore has been nowt but trouble at a number of clubs and I don't think he's any better a player than Lunt.

Hasnt played a game as yet so you would expect some clause in his contract. Also his salary wont even be on the cap so no biggies getting rid imo

If we have the cap-space available then I'd definitely approach him. Quality player and I don't understand how he isn't getting a game at Hudds. Also, it'll be better for us if Houghton can get spelled rather than playing 80 week-in week-out.

He'll be cheaper and they've got plenty of acting half type players so Moore is only coming in as cover. Reckon it's just a good bit of business for Hudds esp as Moore did ok for them when he was there.

why wouldn't his salary be on the cap?

Well since Frosties was adamant that Ellis had signed for Leeds back in January I tend to take rumours about their signings with a pinch of salt.



However, it's unlikely we'll go for him because I doubt that we have the capspace left.

I don't see how people think that people is not included in the cap just because they are injured.

Even if you deregister a player they are still count on the cap I think

I've not got it from Frosties. I was told yesterday by someone very close to the Leeds Rhinos setup, that they've signed him and he was introduced to the squad yesterday.

I think there might be an exclusion if they haven't played a competitive game. Either way, it would seem rather unfair to the player concerned.
