And to those that are syaing he hasn't got pace, he definatley has. All those at Wire last season saw that.

He's not slow but not at the top end of fast either. For example how many times have we seen Sharp do to an opponent what Hodgson did to him - ie skin someone on the outside then maintain/widen the gap to score ? He has other strengths notably the way he brings the ball out but backing himself on the outside of a defender with raw pace isn't something he does.

He isn't a paceless winger. He had done a lot of work during the game and he was tired. It was also a mistake on his behalf and possibly seymour's but at the end of the day we should have been good enough to see the game out. Players make mistakes all the time and that was one. We all know he has a bit of speed. That one mistake alone doesn't make him a pace less winger. Get a grip idiot. One of these trigger happy fans arent you?

He's not very good in defence, isn't very quick, doesn't score many tries and doesn't make many breaks but he tries hard

Can't beleive that some people are shrugging off the loss of turner but then trying to claim that sharp is worth keeping

That's what I'm drifting towards now. I maintained last year that Sharp was not as bad as people were making out, and he has improved vastly this year, but still not enough and I'm not convinced he's got any further improvement left. Wouldn't be too bothered either way about him, really.

If Sharp goes and if Briscoe goes who will be our wingers next season? Can't see Lineham being ready and haven't heard any rumours about new wingers.
