Well I for one would welcome him back. He went somewhere where he could make more money and play for his boyhood team to boot. I can't blame him for that and it's not his fault we are in the position we are now. It is Hull's for not replacing him.
If he genuinely does want to come back I would have him because he is exactly what is missing. The only problem is that he will have a lot of bridges to build with players and fans alike.
That said it's a load of b0ll0cks so this post has been a complete waste of time.

oh come off it, if he'd decided to go to his 'boyhood' club at the end of his contract we'd have understood, not running away in the space of a weekend on a technicality in his contract.
and how would we be able to trust him? his off the field behavior was hardly good last time he was here either |
