Smales just twittered, PG told him Horne will make the switch maybe after the month's loan is over but definately from 2013.



Well a lot of people have said they wanted this.

Ive always thought it will be his best position, but he wasnt a world beater wen he last switched there. Just hope an extended run there will see him right. Whos your pick for the 6 shirt then, nicklas ellis or new signing?

I suppose Horne will finally be away from stand off and now we can (hopefully) sign a quality stand off perhaps from the NRL. Didn't particularly want Horne at fullback either but when he featured there at the beginning of the season I think against Bradford he played really well. But my opinion of Horne is that he's a 'good' player but nothing more and I think we need better if we are to improve.



Main thing for me though is he's away from 6.

I think Horne will do well there. We'll see the best from his running game, which is his strength.



Both Dureau and Finch are OOC so I imagine we'll see their name being thrown around all over the forum.

PG just confirmed on Humberside that Horne is currently the plan for FB next season and possibly after this month loan.

If he's going to play FB for the rest of this season then either Niklas or Ellis are going to have to seriously up their game. Hopefully a new quality 6 for 2013.

To be honest, I'm half hoping the rumours about Seymour leaving at the end of the year are true as well. He's a decent, steady halfback, but he's not top class, or anything like.

Still, we might get a top class 6 out of it. Every cloud.

Still not sure about Seymour TBH. He's had an unsettled start to the season with a few different HB partners which won't have helped him hit the straps. Does a lot of good things in attack and is very good in defence - maybe we haven't seen the best of him yet?
