| It must be me, but I just don't see it with Kurt Haggerty. He seems a fairly average championship player, lots of fans seem to like him but I've never really seen him do anything to make him stand out. I don't see him as the kind of player who is going to help us challenge for the title, and certainly he's not someone I would see stepping up to SL. Pleased with Heckenberg as I think he's showed signs he can be a good player for us and Deano is worth hanging onto for next year. Tom Kelly also looks like a good one for next year and beyond. Let's hope I'm wrong about Haggerty.

| To play devils advocate with it.
I think he has shown more potential in his games till the end of the season than either Grady or Tom Kelly have to date in the backrow but we big them up because they are the 'yoof'. For what it's worth I actually like both Shane and Tom so it isnt a slight against them.
Haggy Jnr looks very versatile and I think he has done alright given that he came in halfway through the year. Certainly hasnt let anyone down and it will be a case of trying to kick him on further next year in the hope of developing some more of the potential that he obviously has.
Not surprised at the re-signings bar possibly Gaskell but all in all a decent start to recruitment for next year.

| Isnt Ben Kavanagh and Paddy Flynn still got a year left on there contracts as have ford and Coyle and Gerrard?
We need some good centres next year, Ropati is muted to have signed and it would be good to get someone experienced like Demetriou in. Ben Jeffries has also been mentioned but would rather have Branighan should thacks depart.

Probably time to get a squad thread going. Job for you there VM.
All those you listed got another year.
As have Ford (If he stays) and Dave Allen.
Not sure on the status of the younger guys like Houghton and Grady but ive a feeling they have deals running into next year.

I doubt Ropati will want to sign for another mid table team with the quality he has.
Looks like your putting ateam together for mid table mediocracy again. We will be joing you though.
