Is anyone really surprised by how this has ended up?
A very bad time for the game indeed.
It's great to have local support from our mp but i think the club should distance themselves and carry on building towards 2012.

Just lays a VERY dangerous precident that 'not breaking any rules by moving'...
For example what if Wakey where faltering and the RFL just decided to move playing squad, coaches etc to Glasgow? Doesn't break any rules does it? And it's how they work in the NFL FRANCHISE system!

I don't think this could happen without the permission of wakefield and the players themselves. They would pretty much legally have to announce this before they even signed for the club so this isn't quite the same. |

Not many rules in their rulebook are there,as Pepe said on TIW.I mean,clubs fieldng ineligible players and they have no punishment to cover such an offence FF sake.Gross incompetence if nobody at the RL can be d looking at their own rulebook now and again to see if everything is up to date and in order. |

Yes there are.. if you go into administration you will be docked 9 points and precluded from serious contention within any licence application process.. |
