Im just mystified about what Leigh expect, Thursday night and the games on sky and we have come of the back of 2 defeats and all as we get is abuse and crap following etc. Money is a big issue in this division so lets see how Leigh cope - 400/500 paying fans.



Leigh can stick it as far as im concerned and from the reports in the car park it was a little more than just verbals exchanged.

I'd stand in the highest Court of the land dressed as Buddah holding the Bible with one hand, the Qu'ran in the other, and Baby Jesus tucked under my arm, and say nothing more than girly namecalling happened on the car park.

I can see where VM is coming from. Alot of people made a good effort to leave work straight away and go straight to the game with their famalies and all you here is, shocking following. A little bit disrespectful if you ask me. Next time Leigh bring 200 fans down to the Stobart i cant wait to let you know what a shocking following you have.



At the end of the day if we have a shocking following, bare in mind we bring hundreds more to any more stadium than any other team, doesn't say alot about your support and other clubs support.

It was nothing but friendly banter until 1 idiot decided to run 100 yards and swing a punch at me as i was walking off. Thats what caused all the aggro but as soon as a few leigh fans jumped out their cars he soon ran off

I'd say it's the complete opposite from what I saw. To me it looked like a bunch of 10/15 young lads who'd drunk a bit too much standing by the doors of the coach/minibus singing "We all hate Leigh scum" as we walked past.

well Iv'e seen some jealous folk in my time but this takes the biscuit, grow up and act your age you have lost three on the bounce now to Leigh who are an infinitely better team this term

Aw come on VM! For what it's worth, I was disappointed in the numbers of Vikings' fans attending, but I fully understand the reasons.



Thursday night games do affect the away following. This game should have been played on Good Friday.



Maybe Widnes haven't been playing as well. That also will affect away following. (look at us last season, we were getting down to the diehards)



I guess prices are high at LSV.



All that said, there won't be many visiting teams that better your attendance - I was hoping for a big following from 'Fev, but not on a Tuesday night!



P.S. There might not have been as many of you as we hoped, but you certainly got behind your team - well done, those of you who managed to get there.

I usually ejoy reading Vikingmans posts but this one is a very sorry effort.



I will still attend your place when we play you but then I am a fan and follow my team home and away even when we are not playing well or carrying a lot of injuries.
