The 'home' fixture against West Wales Raiders on Sunday 15 July 2018 will now take place at Featherstone's LD Nutrition Stadium rather than on Pitch 2 at the Keepmoat.

so its not at home then, so we have to play more away games than anyone else!

Thats the point of HOME fixtures so the AWAY team travels and the HOME team DON'T!

What a joke , this is purely and simply so our brown nosing CEO can kiss a few butts and tell everyone what a great club Featherstone are.

A home game should be in Doncaster not in the land of the six fingered whippet walkers.

The club needs to be providing transport from the KM to Featherstone IMO. This is the very least they can do to help out.

Not the easiest place to get to on a Sunday unless you're getting the car out (very disappointing IMO).

If this is a one off game , then why cant pitch 2 be used as in previous seasons.

Could it be the fact that it is not the most conducive to open flowing rugby and we would be looking to better our points difference for the promotion push.





By the time this game is played we will be languishing in mid table with us looking at another season in League 1 and Carl rolling out the five year plan again.



West Wales wont bring any fans and I cant see many of our own venturing west of the border, so why the 30 odd mile round trip when we have a perfect replacement on our doorstep.

Hi, Been watching the dons for over 20 years now and finally decided to join the forum... I must say I’m very disappointed in this decision. Why not just play this game on pitch 2. As a season ticket holder this is a game that I will now not be able to attend.

OR why not switch to this sunday at home and play away in July.

Must be free coz we could have been playing Hull at home in the cup this weekend

God why is it always doom and gloom on this forum —— always the same people

I am sure there will be a logical reason why it had to be changed

Does anyone know if I can get some food at the LD Nutrition Stadium?

And is supping in Fev still as good as it always was?



PS I have several pessimistic friends who don't post on here anymore ... fed up of being attacked by optimists.
