With Carl Hall's comments regarding the pitch on this weeks ITD can I take that the team selection was made with the pitch in mind or was the playing surface not that heavy?

Did not look too bad .

Keighley had the edge in the backs & the forwards stood up to our forwards .Keighley deserved to win in the end BUT should have been different .



Lets hope we learn from our mistakes & move on .

Thanks for that. Yes we do need to learn but I guess that again comes down to how effective the Coaching staff are.

The report in the RL Express doesn't make good reading.



Looking at the scorers for Keighley, our right defence looks dodgy AGAIN.



Also while Keighley's number seven Matty Beharrell was getting the 'Gamestar' accolade for 'leading the Cougars round the field with real pomp', ours was getting sin-binned for the kind of dangerous tackle that 'landed Cougars centre Josh Casey a four match suspension earlier in the week.'



Hedges got a three match ban last season for something similar I recall.



A chance to try somebody else coming up maybe ....



Failing signing a PROPER scrum half which we are crying out for, I would play Tom Carr there.

The Hedges incident was on the other side of the pitch so did not get a clear view , the incident was dealt with on field & not put on report !

I am not sure it's only down to the ref ...

A panel reviews these incidents.

Re Charlie Martin , the ref indicated it was something that happened after the tackle not the tackle itself . Charlie looked confused .

I think we have signed a good player in CM.

We certainly have ... what went wrong?

He did ok .

I will stand by what I said in another thread . I do want it to sorted it out ,we are lacking in key positions.

It was a re run of some games last season .
