Sad really.

I feel the younger players in our squad have been signed as squad players, almost to make numbers when we have injuries and this will not do us or them any good because they will be called on for some games and they will be rusty with the lack of game time they've had

On the 2nd February, on another thread, I wrote: "We knew it was going to be a tough season with other clubs signing some good quality players with experience, whilst we opted to not go down that road. Whether that was the right thing to do will only be proven in the fullness of time."



The fullness of time probably isn't quite here just yet, but most of us are probably starting to doubt whether our pre-season recruitment policy was the right one.

We shouldn't be relying on getting first team handouts from Hull, the DR players should be there to add some depth and class not to be the backbone.



Recruitment at this stage of the season will be almost impossible sadly and the spectre of relegation will start to loom this year after clearly punching above our weight this year.

You've got to feel for those supporters who did make the long trip up there. I can't imagine they'll be taking too many positives from the day out.

If you look at our fixture list, or even if you don't...lol , just where is our first win coming from?

We have an apalling record at Hunslet, a side that handed us our ar/se on a plate recently.

Batley? Dewsbury? Two sides there that have sorted us recently.



So Batley maybe ....



Our beloved neighbours are going to rule the roost at our own stadium ... oh hum.

I'm not able to get to many away games these days due to circumstances but I nearly went today.



Our strength of coming good late in games disappeared today, which probably shreds the last feelings of positivity we have now, based on the back of all the losses we've suffered of late.

Can't believe Robinson missed out again though, he'll do anything for team players like him should be playing and aswell leafy who'd run through a brick wall for club and not using dual registration players just because they've got a name or because hull would like them to play

I've got a holiday booked for June; So there's that to look forward to

And I have one in May and the pound vs euro is good.

Not every right thinking RL fan comes out with that comment, so take your Facebook type offended attitude and just revel in the fact that you put us to the sword big time. There are times I simply despair at the human condition to be offended. Well done on the win and good luck for the season.
