Another win only 2 more and we are safe for another year I hope

What a shambles it was 24-0 nil in as many minutes,then we decide were going to score every time we get the ball,give countless penalties on the 5th tackle,all it was needed was to play proper rugby but no we dont do that.

Tims half time team talk must have been legendary,the 1st set of 6 in the 2nd of halifax possession we give a penalty on the 5th tackle and sadly the rest of the half was total dross and to add the icing on the cake our player of the season could well not play again this year.Great performance rovers.

A win is a win, but, play like that next week and we will lose. After the initial 24 points it was shocking. No leadership, no enthusiasm, weak tackling.Cue on the rack performance. Injuries did not help and they sound like bad ones, but it was Halifax, not Melbourne Storm...Big Big improvement needed and sooner, or possible MPG...gulp!!

Another step closer - although it sounded an unsteady step in that second half. Still, credit for the fast start, and it never really felt like it was in doubt.



The injuries are a bit of a sickener, but i think Sheens said Donaldson and Crooks might be back next week, which’d be very welcome.

Losing Carney is something we are used to, but the Quinlan injury will take some cutting edge out of the attack, he assisted all 5 tries we scored when he was on.



Looks likely we will have to put Hally at full back and we know that can mean rocks or diamonds. Still 11 tries in 5 games should ensure he’s full of confidence.

After the start we had it was a golden chance to put the points difference right,but through our own incompetence we now have the worst points difference out of the top 5 by a good margin,and that could be the difference between top 3 and the million pound game.Talk about making our own problems.

Very good win in the circumstances. Ran out of fit interchanges, injured players on the pitch and a couple of major reshuffles throughout the game.



Halifax came to spoil and to be fair they were spirited after our initial onslaught.



2 more wins needed and we can look forward to going through all of this again in 2019!



Injuries a concern but we have good players to come back into the 17. Luckily we have built a deep squad.

We don’t have the worst points difference in the top 5 let alone by some margin look today wasn’t pretty but we knew what to expect from Halifax after the Salford game if you said to me you’ll go beat Leeds and Toronto away and have a comfortable albeit scrappy win over Halifax I’d have snapped your hand off so stop been so miserable

Disappointed is a better word than miserable mate.

You wouldn’t be a Rovers fan if you aren’t disappointed at least once or twice every couple of games it’s the way it is
