| No time to reflect on an easy derby win, what's the thoughts on Monday's game. I see it as a "free hit" type of game, i.e. anything would be a bonus. Rather than shuffle players out of position to cover the missing halves (now known as the Gentle touch), I would bring in Matty Beharrell and pair him with Hally. Bring Coxy & Rich Beaumount in and possibly Withers if he's fit.

| I think we have to be careful seeing it as a free hit, psychologically rather than tactically. Don't want it to be 60 at home.
Suspect it'll be a bit make do and mend with plenty of input from the medical staff.
It always surprised me how few changes JM made over Easter, especially in the forwards - and we had a bit more depth then. CS didn't change things too much last year either and isn't overwhelmed with options this. I expect Cox will play and maybe Beaumont.

| With the next four games being against serious top 4 contenders, we will be doing well to get one win in April, especially with Dobbo and Burns likely to miss some or all of them.

Agreed, but history (and form) would suggest the Saints game is our best opportunity. We should target our resources accordingly.

| Hall @ 6
Ideally Withers if fit/near @ 7. I wouldn't be too keen giving Beharrell a go against the best side in division, even in a no lose situation. Still, if he's ready and potentially viewed as a SL player, then he'll get a run out sooner or later. Perhaps a season long loan/dual registration deal may be best for him in the short term.
I've no idea about the rotation of the big lads. I'd be inclined to also go down the Gentle route and see who puts their hands up to play. But having options available we may as well look to freshen it up here or there. I'd like to think Mickey Paea is quite proud of his ever present record for Rovers, and won't be inclined to give it up easy.
No easy game, but Wigan will be sore too and have history for resting players. So it's by no means an impossible task to think we can back up yesterday's performance on Monday.

Wigan always start very fast so Sandercock has gone for a very young, fast, enthusiastic and energetic side.
If Rovers young and mobile starting side can keep pace with Wigan in the opening exchanges and keep it tight for the first 20/25 then I suppose there's a chance the likes of Paea, Mika and Walker can come off the bench bust them up the middle because although Wigan have a very mobile pack with a high work rate, it's a small pack which can be dominated - going by the Leeds game anyway when I thought Wigan got man-handled in the middle despite the slender scoreline.
Smart move by Sandercock I think.

| I'm not sure how much choice he's had tbh.
It'll be good to see Beharrell get a run.
Gleeson, Disco, Burns, Dobson, O'Hara, Withers, Paterson, jeez. Still, at least it is only Wigan.
Have we ever put out as few as 4 overseas players before in SL?

Aye, start well and we should win. When I say well, obviously I mean better than last year's 28-0 lead, as clearly that's not well enough.

The only change I would make is to start with Josh, otherwise probably as good as it gets.
I see Wigan have named a very strong squad. . .lets hope complacency kicks in.

I don't think Wane has complacency in his vocabulary. It always appears to me that he demands his team win every game. A tough one for you I think.
