OK. Wigan beat us tonight in a game that we might have won but didn't.



A hard match that should have given us a good test and has shown us how far we've come from the game at Craven Park earlier in the year.



The bar-coded ones managed to turn over a very poor Widnes side 72-10.



Personally, I'd say that we were better prepared for the derby but will injuries now be worse after such a hard game?



Hull 2 points behind. Catalans likely to be 2 points ahead at the end of the weekend. The best we can hope for is 5th (if we can catch Catalans). 7th and 8th will lead to an away run in the play offs. 5th or 6th see us with an initial home tie I think (correct me if I'm wrong).



This derby match is all set up to define where we finish in the play offs this season and our points difference is appaling because of THAT Wigan game earlier in the season.

The sky commentator commentating for Sky who was at the Hull match labelled the performance of Widnes after 30 minutes as embarrassing and truly awful. Wouldn't read to much into the score line.

as for our game tonight, widnes were shocking, if we hadn't put the points on them that we did no doubt we would have been crucified for our lack of attacking play



game is 50/50 for me, cant call a winner, fc players have Wembley places to earn, rovers player will want to get revenge from magic

At least they have more respect for Hull than to rest half of their first team
