The top four clubs get a bye to the semi finals?

Are you sure its this seasons top eight? I've just read it again and it sounds to me it starts from 2015.

Pretty sure it is, as only recently announced and I thought it was quite late in the day

It says the bottom four SL clubs come in at round five, presumably due to having seven extra games in the middle eight. Which is what made me think it is from next years league positions??? Otherwise why would the two relegated teams get a bye to round five along with the 11th and 12th place teams? And what round would 9 and 10 from this year enter the CC if the top 8 come in at round 6?

Possibly so then, I am confused.

It has to be based on this years positions as next years cc will be over before we know who gets the exemption

I took it to read that 2015 positions will determine which round you enter the cup in 2016 etc. I'm probably wrong though. I usually am.

Pretty certain its next years cup, think it was on sky they said the clubs prob new a while ago this was the case.
