Not been a bad season so far, overall. Definately a mixed bag, but not bad. It does look like we're going to crash through the finish line with the wheels spinning off and our hair on fire, the thinness of our squad exposed by injuries. Though we're not alone in that, my impression is that we're worse off than most.

Catalans have got a tough run-in, although Wigan might rest a few in the next round. But points difference means we'd have to win 2 more than them (draws aside).

Difficult to know what will happen with Hull in the league - what sort of team will they risk against Salford? They could come out of the CC final deflated or determined, exultant or exhausted.

Bradford have Cas, then London, with Hudds last up. If Hudds already have the league leader's place secured, they might rest a few for the play-offs.

Going to be tight. Anything can happen over 80 mins, but it'd be one of the season's bigger surprises if we got anything from the trip to Headingley. If we get more players back for the last couple of rounds than we lose in the meantime, I think we'll hold on for 8th. Just.

And that was regarded as acceptable by most pre-season.

I'm not so certain.

We play Leeds, Widnes and London.

Hull play Salford, Wigan and Saints.

Catalans play Wigan, Leeds and Warrington.



All things being equal I can't see Catalans winning any of those so you have to wonder who will win more between us and FC.

I know which run-in I would prefer.



Hard to believe but 6th still isn't beyond the possible.

If we win 2, Catalans no more and FC 1, (dependant on points difference) Rovers would finish on 28pts. FC would finish on 26pts. Catalans would finish on 26pts. So Rovers in 6th would be at home to either Catalans or FC, likely FC given the points diff. Would we really want that on current form lol. We need our pack back, thats our most important aim. No Eden and no Paea for the remainder of the season.

Who says we will win 2 games? Widnes game is a real banana skin especially with our injuries. I expect 1 more win but if Bradford win their 3 remaining fixtures then we are out of the playoffs on points difference. The 8 isn't sewed up yet and I think you can't say we will make it until we get at least one more win or until Bradford lose at least one more game.

Even with Catalans recent form, I still expect them to beat whatever Wigan side that travel.

Whatever you and we think of each other, Eden's loss is a real blow to your hopes. Your attack without him is nowhere near as good.

Massive blow. As I said us away to Stains (if we don't screw up at Widnes) You will beat Salford and one out of Wigan and Stains. If you win all 3
