Seriously tho, they have finally confirmed their small club status, mocking a club playing in a major final, getting repetitive strain injury of the wrist over a game involving a club that apparently never registered on their radar.. oh how the average have fallen. Maybe Adam could use this great result to sell some passes, just think if you'd managed to get to this final you could have afforded to pay Mr Allam to let you use a couple of stands...'"

You understand that most of the reason FC fans are giving out stick this morning, is down to that embarrassing banner someone popped outside the KC before the game. I really don't remember us caring about you guys in any of our last 3 cup finals, we certainly didn't bother with daft banter like that.

Tbf, it took us a month and the 76 points you shipped against Huddersfield to get over the 40, before it collapsed under the weight of it's own pettiness. The equivalent is already at 11 on the Hull board, excluding a couple of ancillary threads and the stuff on here. And quite right too, in the absence of silverware, we might as well seize the silver linings from each other's clouds.
Flicked through it (the 2013 thread) quickly and after one dig on the Sunday, by the Wednesday I was offering the consolation that your forgettable performance would be soon forgotten and that it'd be the semi-final you remembered. Now, for purely selfish reasons, I hope I was right. I always remember 2011 as ending on a high, as we reached the play-offs by narrowly beating Cas in an emotional send-off for Morgan, Fisher et al. The subsequent unceremonious ejection from said play-offs is just a footnote. |

I was absolutely gutted yesterday, we had a real everything we touched turned to sh*t day. They happen, although they usually seem to be against Wigan. The fact is, Leeds are a top quality side and we earned the right to be there. Regardless of what happened, the trolls can't take that away from us. I'm still hacked off but what we need now is for them to pull themselves together quickly as although we are in a strong position in the qualifiers, we need a gritty performance against Wakie on Sunday, and that will go a long way to repairing the damage done to the players confidence.
