This shows the character of the guy. He knew the risk but played through the pain barrier because he cares deeply about the team and his performances. Saw his pic today in the Sun of him in hospital with his girlfriend who looked very nice.

Sorry if already answered somewhere, but why was he playing with a stress fracture? Can only assume it's a relatively minor injury. Would this not potentially affect any insurance claim by Rovers?





As already said, brave guy to play in a high intensity game if he already knew there was a weakness there.

Think to be honest it must be the media just making a story by linking the two together.



Think there was as much chance of that happening to anyone, it wasn't as if senior just touched his leg, it was a lot of weight to be putting on such a selective area.

Could be. TBH I reckon there are loads of players playing when they shouldn't, particularly at this point in the season. Berrigan played with injections all season - madness IMO.

I agree, surely a 100% fit player is better than a 70% player topped up with painkillers.

I've seen some X rays in my time, but clucking bell, that is terrible.



If it didn't show the section from the patella upwards you'd hardly even know that it was a leg. More like a pile of snapped bamboo.
