I would be very surprised if we don't bring in a replacement before start of the season.

We have a lot of backrowers in the squad, so I would have to assume that the intention was always to push some of those into the role. I would guess Greenwood (would hate to see him move from the backrow), Milton (too small - similar build to Tommy Gallagher) and Clarkson (Meh) would be the obvious ones, although none seem like the ideal solution.



If the cap and quota space that are freed up bring in two solid props then it may not be a bad thing Tilse going.

I think we need an old head up front with a bit of game smart's about them. A lot of good props start of in the back row & mature into the roll in their late 20's early 30's very few young props last the course. It is one of the hardest positions to fill as a lot of young lads have the size but just don't have the mental toughness to keep up the required levels of fitness required in the modern game.

Very few quality players available at this stage its either a second grade Aussy or loan we have Osborne who is a unit and needs game time , in all honesty he has dropped you in it, that old chestnut miss my family after he has just signed a lower paid deal ? he has probably been offered a job back home and with the standard of living in Aus compared to here and the falling pound it could be, not worth his while coming back here or he and sheens have had a fall out ? replacement will be hard to find now of any real quality
