Me and my pal are going just on the Saturday but are struggling for transport we wanted to get the train but can't find one on return after the game any thoughts

i am not going ....cannot get disabled parking at the ground after leaving it to late

i'm gutted i can't afford it as i refused to go a 'derby' with a round trip of 550 miles and always said stick it on the m62 and i'll go. work dried up and i cant go so i am miffed tbh

That's the least I would expect them to sell for a game on their doorstep, they would normally take more than that for a league match to Wigan (for example). Despite claims made by some other clubs (ahem!) I can see Wire & Pies being the 2 best supported teams over the weekend, and part of that is down to locality.

I am a fan of the concept but I have never been able to go to any since it started due to work, & the fixtures need to be out over 12 months before for me to ensure my shifts dont clash or book hollidays. I am not bitter but it is just a fact of the modern way of life. I also miss out out on Internationals for the same reason I just have to hope that they fall on a conveniant day as again I need over 12 months notice to guarantee to be off on the day. I still buy a season ticket for Craven park but it has been a waste of cash this year as I will get to only 6 games. The advance buying of tickets costs the game a lot of revenue as many would pay on the day if they get the chance at the last moment.

In fairness, the "we've sold the most" line was a quote from about a month ago. As you say it would be an embarrassment if Hull outnumbered Wire & Pies. Salford also [iought[/i to have a good turnout.

Fair comment. I think Hull's sales shot out in front early on as they had a 28th Feb deadline for ST holders. That deadline subsequently got extended several times I think. I read somewhere that Rovers have sold 3100 and Hull over 4000, so great support and will put many closer clubs to shame.
