Crabtree is contracted to Hudds until the end of the 2010 season so I cant see that coming off.

Justin has stated two weeks ago that Rovers are talking to two Australian based players so that is not exactly news.

Everyone should no by now that contracts dont actually mean to much nowadays, if a decent player has a big bust up or doesnt want to play there you can safely say he will be taken on by another SL team.

As an example --- Foxy has just signed a new contract; but if he turned around and said i dont want to play for HKR and had a massive barny with Morgs or Hudge they would ship him out right away, i for one would be happy to get rid as i wouldnt want someone who isnt committed to the club been here.

Surely rob crossland will dip his hand in his pocket if the right player becomes available?

Although I believe Rovers would shell out the cash for Crabtree, Ken Davy of Hudds is not short of cash and puts success before his own pocket anyway.



Still, if there was any English player we could sign, it would be Crabtree - I think he'll cause Australia and NZ plenty of problems in the 4 nations at the end of the year.

I agree, Crabtree is a must.

He is due a testimonial year next year I think so he will cost you quite a wedge to tempt him away.....Not that that stops you lot !!!
