The abbot does have a point. He may have been a little bit too direct with his original comment but he is right. I don't want to sound cruel but a little criticism helps. By your own admission you take 2-300 photos per match. You then post a huge number after each game. Perhaps if you used a bit more self restraint and only published a few of the better ones they would have more impact. Don't listen to the people who tell you they are all great. That is obviously untrue. Even the pros don't get perfect results every shot. Personally I don't know how you manage to follow the game when you must be superglued to the viewfinder but if it suits you then fine.

I reckon the game is videod, then certain frames taken out.

Get over yourself, why would I think you cruel, it's your opinion nothing more! I see all of the game, just because I do it through a lens why is that a problem to you. I upload what I consider to be the better ones, I've never said any of them are great, although i do sometimes feel very proud of certain ones. I shoot in bursts of about four frames per second, as I have 4800 seconds available during every match, yet only take a max of about 400, there is plenty of time when the camera isn't 'superglued' to my face - strange there cos that remark has been made by one other person on here who has a problem with me.... I wonder....





Obviously if I were better at this I wouldn't be plodding through life as a teaching assistant. It's a hobby for goodness sake, can you not understand that? If some people get enjoyment from them then that's fine, if others want to spend time analysing and finding fault, so be it, I won't lose any sleep

I would just add this is probably the longest one of these threads has gone on, normally on here it doesn't provoke such discusssion, perhaps it coincides with me no longer posting them on the unofficial forum.

You said it all when you said it was a hobby. A hobby is an enjoyable past time,so you shouldn`t be too bothered about criticism.

I do it as a hobby too love, but i only show people pictures worth seeing. They are also a damn site better aswell. I delete better pictures then you post. Call me big headed as they will, but most people dont know a good photograph. Show most Grandmothers an out of focus picture of there family and they think its wonderful. If you are interested in the subject, you think its good, despite quality.

So you dont like them,so what? Plenty of people on here do and couldn't give a monkeys what you think

I think you have gone too far on this. Tracey and i dont see eye to eye on many subjects but i always have a look at her photos, appreciate how much she enjoys taking them and happen to think they are good.

Why have I gone too far? Please answer. I can prove my points. Can you?
